Megan is an Industrial Designer, with most of her passions falling under furniture and lighting systems. She finds purpose in empowering people with meaningful design solutions that encourage a sense of play. She has always held an interest in design and visual language, currently pursuing a communication design minor along with her Industrial Design degree.
Growing up in Singapore and moving to Melbourne in 2012, Megan is forever grateful for the coloured experience she has gained discovering, engaging and adapting to different communities and cultures. She is propelled by a relentless drive to keep solutions simple yet effective, and her design work stems from improving the connection between people and the things they use.
During her studies in 2020, Megan connected with handmade glass and lighting business Mark Douglass Design and involved herself in their design and administrative work. Interacting with their team and dynamic has enriched her knowledge of sales, production and design projects in the residential and hospitality space.
Outside of design, she is constantly adapting her room layout, ever-expanding her Pinterest boards, and making time for her five younger siblings.
