Georgia Butterfield is a Designer and graduate of Communication Design majoring in Branded Environment at Swinburne, she resides on Boonwurrung & Wurundjeri country. Throughout her studies in Design she has carried an importance for cultural and social change.

Currently, we are living through a permanent amount of change and challenges, from environmental challenges to cultural significance. Georgia believes that Design is the most powerful tool that can intervene in current and future major crises. Design is a convincing tool to tackle complex challenges if it is deployed intelligently and responsibly.

Georgia has also graduated with a Diploma in Visual Merchandising at RMIT in 2016 and has worked professionally in Photography and Filmography. Throughout her studies she has worked in a wide number of creative practices such as Communication Design, Architecture, Media Production, Brand Design, & Typography.

She is passionate about integrating First Nations culture into her designs, creating an impact on communities, and establishing meaningful connections between each other and the built environment. Our stories are the bridges that connect us together.
