UX Interaction Design

Hi! I’m a passionate UI/UX Designer with a strong focus on UX design and research. I’m drawn to both the technical and user-centered aspects of the field, and I enjoy engaging with clients and users to create meaningful design solutions. I originally studied architecture at the University of Melbourne for two years before transferring to Swinburne University, where I completed my Bachelor of Design. The skills and concepts I gained from architecture have been highly transferable, and I continue to incorporate that experience into my creative work, which I believe adds a unique touch to my designs. My passions have always centered around creative fields. In my free time, I enjoy both digital and traditional illustration, video games, and exploring fashion. Alongside my education, I spent four years working as an assistant and junior hairdresser at a salon, which greatly enhanced my client communication skills and taught me how to manage both a shop and a team effectively. These experiences—both academic and professional—have been invaluable, and I’m excited to bring my skills forward to make a meaningful impact in the future.

Toorak Savours the World (Outdoors)

"Toorak Savours the World" is a digital placemaking and wayfinding initiative designed to boost foot traffic and customer retention in Toorak Village. Currently, the precinct feels empty, unengaging, and unwelcoming to younger audiences. The City of Stonnington Council sought a solution to attract younger families and encourage them to explore more of what the area has to offer.
Following in-depth research and prototyping, *Toorak Savours the World* came to life. This interactive experience features a motion-sensor screen where users can enjoy a quick, engaging cooking game. After completing the game, participants are guided to explore various local shops throughout the precinct. The project successfully promotes local businesses while fostering multiculturalism and cultural awareness, making Toorak Village a more vibrant and inclusive destination.

Young families interact with the mobile screen and people gather to watch. The mobility allows for it to be relocated or stored away depending on different locations. The versatility as a screen with in built sensors and speakers makes it a worthwhile investment for the long term promotion of Toorak Village

Deep City Odyssey

Dive into Melbourne like never before with my app, blending skyline views with the mysteries of the deep sea. Designed for young adults seeking a unique social experience, this app takes you on a journey through Melbourne’s top bars with panoramic city views, each venue representing a different depth zone of the ocean. As you explore, discover fascinating marine life and gain a deeper appreciation for underwater ecosystems—all while enjoying drinks in Melbourne’s trendiest spots. With AI visuals and an interactive bar map, embark on an unconventional adventure that fuses urban heights with deep-sea wonders.

Roamly. (Mobile)

'Roamly' is a trip-sharing app where users can post images, videos, ratings, and reviews of places they've visited. Blending the functions of social media with a travel discovery platform, Roamly aims to provide authentic, reliable reviews and simplify trip planning. To keep content genuine, the app prioritizes real user experiences over promotions, discouraging participation from social media influencers and businesses. Roamly is designed for travelers seeking honest insights from everyday explorers.

Roamly is a trip-sharing app where users can share images, videos, ratings, and reviews of places they’ve visited. Combining social media with travel discovery, Roamly prioritizes authentic, reliable content by focusing on real user experiences and discouraging influencer and business participation. Designed for travelers, Roamly offers honest insights from everyday explorers. Roamly is fully responsive across various devices, including smart IoT platforms, making it accessible wherever you are. It also functions as an all-in-one travel planner, allowing users to save experiences and activities directly into an itinerary, creating a seamless, organized trip-planning experience.

As students of SoDA you will be given opportunities to both engage with and educate yourself in Indigenous creative practices and cultural protocols through a lens of inclusivity, diversity, respect, mutual understanding, inter-cultural dialogue in all aspects of design practice. Indigenous people have been telling stories, making tools, and connecting to Country through visual media, placemaking and place marking for more than 60,000 years and these practices are part of an ongoing, evolving and live tradition.
