As an Interior Architecture student, I’ve always been drawn to how spaces can quietly influence the way people feel and connect. To me, design goes far beyond aesthetics, it’s about creating places that feel warm, comforting and meaningful. I love the idea that a well-designed space can make someone feel at ease, spark a sense of belonging, or bring people together in simple, genuine ways.
Over the years, I’ve developed my skills in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Lumion, Enscape, Photoshop, and Illustrator, learning how to translate emotions and ideas into physical form. My capstone project, The Living Tapestry, captures what matters most to me this year, which is designing environments that weave generations together through shared experiences, care and connection to nature. It’s a project that reminds me designs can nurture relationships and wellbeing.
I find inspiration in the small, everyday details: the way sunlight moves through a window, the sound of conversation in a cafe and the texture of a worn timber surface. My goal is to design spaces that feel alive, inclusive and human, where people can be themselves and feel connected. As I continue my journey, I hope to grow into a designer who uses creativity not just to build interiors, but to shape how people experience life within them.
