Stella Pullen

Hi! My name is Stella – I am a designer graduating with a Bachelor of Interior Architecture (Honours) from Swinburne University of Technology. I believe design in an intrinsic part of life— with empathy and responsibility, and the pre-existing precision of nature. Guided by a strong awareness of environmental, social, and human impact, I aim to build creative solutions that are thoughtful, purposeful and grounded.

My practice is driven by problem-solving and a pursuit of clarity. I strive to design environments that enhance everyday experience, uphold integrity and offer enduring value. Through both my studies and professional experiences in architecture firms, I’ve developed a deep interest in human experience and the ways we intuitively interact with space.

I’m fascinated by perception - how subtle influences shape the way we interpret our surroundings. I believe the spaces we inhabit should work for us, not against us, and that well-considered design plays an essential role in supporting wellbeing and connection. These ideas sit at the core of my work.

While I love aesthetics - colour, form, pattern, and texture - I’m guided more by intention than trend. My goal is to create spaces that feel meaningful, grounded, and attuned to the people who use them, offering clarity, comfort, and a sense of place.
