My name is Christy, a multimedia designer specialising in motion and visual storytelling. I am proficient in creating 3D visuals, including environments and characters with designs tailored to their background stories.
I studied Multimedia Design at Swinburne University of Technology, Sarawak, for my first 2 years, and Motion Design at Swinburne University of Technology, Melbourne, for my last year. Throughout those years, I worked with a vast amount of people coming from different backgrounds, designed products and concepts covering graphics, games, UI/UX, communication and branding, photography and films. I am particularly proud of my design of games as I get to experience and learn valuable skills like programming, other than just design, entirely different concepts from another perspective, like the game logics. Other than that, I have also designed an industry-publishable annual report that catches some of the details others might not have noticed.
Outside of just academics, I got my hands on taking part in the high school projects, namely designing a mascot as the icon of my high school in future years. The mascot I designed went around penguins representing how I feel about my high school, and it ended up being the main character they used even years after my graduation and continuing. I also designed club merch, posters, social media posts, local stall brands, you name it. And I am still eager to learn more, as I see creativity as limitless, constantly expanding, much like the cosmos that we live in today.
If you read until here, you must at least be interested (that's way more than 250 words)! Please feel free to reach out or have a chat together discussing my design journey and how it could benefit you. To end my bio, I just wanted to say, I strive to make design my life passion and part of my main contributions to society. I believe that everything that we live in comfortably now is carefully and collectively designed with love, and I want to be part of it.
