Laura V. Jaeger is a Naarm/Melbourne-based multimedia artist, photographer, and designer whose work explores the relationship between frequency, light, and perception.
Currently completing a double degree in Design (Photo Media) and Media and Communications at Swinburne University of Technology, Laura also undertook an international study exchange across France and Italy in 2025, focusing on Fashion and Luxury Industries. This experience greatly deepened her understanding of material history, luxury aesthetics, and art direction.
Working across digital photography, video, and analogue processes, Laura has developed a distinctive visual language that captures emotion through texture, colour, and atmosphere. Her projects span fine art, editorial, textile, and experimental art and design, reflecting a long-standing curiosity about how visual and material forms can evoke feeling.
Her capstone body of work, The Unseen Wave a photobook and multimedia project, brings together her interests in light, sound, and emotional frequency through a series of poetic visual studies. Using Risograph and UV printing, she expands her mixed-media fine art photography practice into new material and sensory dimensions.
Beyond her individual practice, Laura enjoys collaborating with like-minded brands, artists, musicians, and designers to create work that merges conceptual depth with sensory experience. Notably, a five-year collaboration with Converse x/All Stars, with her photography published in Monsters Children magazine.
