Georgie Algeri is a Photomedia and Marketing major whose work explores the relationship between storytelling, design, and the natural world. He captures the balance between stillness and motion, using light, texture, and atmosphere to create rhythm and emotion in each image. His approach is guided by curiosity, observation, and patience, allowing him to photograph both natural and human environments with intention.
Throughout his degree, Georgie has developed strong technical skills in both studio and natural lighting. He works across portraiture, product, and business photography, and has created freelance content for Thermotek Windows and Doors, Mornington Green, and Beach Yoga Hampton, including photography and video for branding, social media, and promotional campaigns. These projects have strengthened his ability to communicate visually and turn creative ideas into practical, engaging content.
His capstone project, Untouched Currents, explores the movement and energy of Australia’s coastlines, bushland, and wildlife. Shot across Victoria, the series examines how stillness and flow reveal time, transformation, and the subtle patterns of nature.
Looking ahead, Georgie hopes to continue combining his skills in marketing and photomedia to pursue opportunities in tourism and nature photography. He is motivated by a love for travel, discovery, and creating imagery that captures the beauty and emotion of the environments he experiences.
