Emily Meaker

My name is Emily Meaker, I’m a designer passionate about creating thoughtful visual experiences that balance creativity with purpose. My work combines strategic thinking with a warm, nature-inspired aesthetic, resulting in designs that feel authentic, engaging, and carefully considered. Whether developing a brand identity, designing a publication, or crafting a digital experience, I aim to create work that is both visually compelling and meaningful.

I am a recent graduate of a double Bachelor’s degree in Design and Media & Communication, majoring in Graphic Design and Advertising. This interdisciplinary background has strengthened my ability to think both creatively and strategically, allowing me to develop design solutions that not only look beautiful but also communicate effectively and connect with audiences.

My creative approach is heavily influenced by nature, editorial design, photography, and contemporary branding. I am drawn to organic forms, tactile textures, refined typography, and visual systems that feel timeless rather than trend driven. These influences often shape my work, which is characterised by soft, welcoming aesthetics, strong attention to detail, and a focus on creating genuine emotional connections.

Curious, adaptable, and collaborative, I enjoy working closely with clients to understand their goals and transform ideas into purposeful visual outcomes. I believe the most successful design emerges from a balance of creativity, strategy, and empathy, resulting in work that feels both beautiful and functional.

I bring a calm, considered perspective to every project, driven by a passion for storytelling, problem-solving, and creating design that leaves a lasting impression.
