As a 22 year old, I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) (Professional), majoring in Product Design with an anticipated graduation date of November 2022. As a young and motivated student with an eye for detail, my strengths lie in the presentation of carefully thought-out, yet creative and impactful work. With my engineering coursework and project experience, innovative mindset, affinity for problem solving and history of successful team projects, I believe I have developed strong interpersonal and communication skills required to succeed in industry. As an undergraduate, I have balanced a rigorous course load and a number of extracurricular activities which include leadership roles across the university. These experiences have allowed me to become an efficient student and taught me how to function and perform well both independently and in a team environment. Specific to engineering, through my academic project work, I have developed abilities in CAD design, an understanding of materials, in addition to practicing different manufacturing methods. As I prepare to embark on the next chapter of my life, I have found that my studies and work have helped refine and develop my interests and inquisitive nature in brainstorming solutions for the challenges faced in industry at present.
