During my time studying Interior Architecture I have had the opportunity to nurture my love for design, while developing important technical skills which have enabled me to actualise my concepts. Over the past 5 years my experience at university, as well as in the industry, has helped me to recognise my strengths and the areas of design I am most passionate about, being residential and hospitality design. In a world where technology is so prevalent, understanding how to foster connection and an inclusive atmosphere is something I strive for as a designer.

My final honours year project FORMA, was inspired by my grandmother Wendy and her love for fashion and dressmaking. I chose to focus on the fast fashion industry to understand consumer attitudes and why the dressmaking skills of my grandmother's generation is becoming a lost art. I aimed to design a space that creates social change to address the problem of fast fashion, by providing accessibility to a range of sustainable designers as well as teaching and fostering necessary skills and education, through an innovative and tailored fashion experience in the heart of Melbourne.
