My name is Lachlan Turner and I have walked a unique path in my professional journey. For 15 years, I was a carpenter, shaping wood into beautiful structures and intricate furniture. But a passion for better design and innovation led me to embrace a career change, transitioning into the realm of Product Design Engineering.

My early years were spent crafting, building and honing my carpentry skills where I developed an eye for detail and an in-depth understanding of materials and construction. Yet, I yearned for a new challenge, a way to combine my craftsmanship with my love for design.

I made the bold decision to reorient my career, enrolling in a Product Design Engineering degree to gain the technical knowledge necessary for my new path. The transition was demanding, but it was also immensely rewarding.

As a Product Design Engineer, I've merged the art of craftsmanship with the science of engineering. My work now involves shaping innovative products, from furniture to gadgets, and working prototypes. My career has evolved into a constant journey of exploration and creativity.
