I am a Vietnamese Interior Architecture student with a deep passion for creating spaces that evoke a sense of belonging and comfort. Since childhood, I've loved decorating, crafting and playing with colors, discovering how these elements can transform ordinary spaces into something special. I began my academic journey in Vietnam, where I studied for two years and built a strong foundation in design.

Continuing my education in Australia has broadened my perspective, enhancing my knowledge of sustainable and user-focused design, as well as Austrailan regulations and standards. These experiences have shaped my approach to creating functional, empathetic spaces that prioritize the human experience. By combining cultural understanding with innovative and sustainable practices, I aim to design interiors that foster meaningful connections and provide comfort for all who use them.

Hallway

The sloped roof at this building naturally descends, so a glass cut-out was incoporated aiming to enhance the sense of spaciousness while allowing natural light to penetrate the lower floor. This idea not only maximizes light flow but also creates a more open and inviting environment. Earthy tones is applied in the hallway of all building to add warmth and fostering a calm, natural ambiance that encourages both relaxation and social interaction.

Communal living room

A deep blue accent wall which evokes a sense of calm, stability, and focus is supported by green seating, which is associated with balance and rejuvenation, promoting relaxation and comfort. The natural timber tones helps to add warmth and grounding, creating an inviting and cozy atmostphere. Together, these colors work harmoniously to foster a peaceful and comfortable environment.

Communal laundry room

The earthy tone with green and natural timber color combine with soft lighting create a soothing and welcoming atmosphere, helps reduce stress and enhances a sense of calm, making it ideal for a communal laundry space where individuals might seek relaxation during chores.

Meeting room

Orange tones are known to stimulate communication, making them ideal for spaces where discussions and collaboration are key.The bolness of burnt orange on both wall and ceiling also gives the room a cozy, enclosed feel, supporting a focused and cohesive meeting environment. Meanwhile, the blue floor provides a cooling counterbalance to the orange, introducing a sense of calmness and stability to the space. Blue also helps to ground the energy of the room, promoting a balanced and steady atmosphere during discussions. To add a gentle touch of optimism and creativity, I used soft yellow pairing with light color timber. This can help stimulate innovative thinking, making participants feel more positive and engaged. This element keeps the energy bright without overwhelming, complementing the warm of orange and the calm of blue.

Studio apartment

The intention of using built-in furniture is to maximize space efficiency while maintaining a clean and cohesive look. Pastel tone is chosen to use in studio typology to create a balanced and inviting atmostphere. Muted orange and soft yellow are used in the kitchen and entrance to bring energy and cheerfulness, fostering a cozy and welcoming environment. Meanwhile, the green is used in the sleeping area to add as calming, natural element promoting relaxation and harmony. The frosted glass offers privacy while allowing light to flow. enhancing the sense of openness without sacrifying comfort or intimacy.
