I’ve always been enamored by the built world, the dynamic ways in which it is constructed for a contemporary purpose, only to be utilized and interpreted in so many unintended ways over its lifetime. The medium of architecture stands as a physical definition of its designer’s society, overstaying is hard coded into this profession. I found my way into architecture through sociology and thus see it through this lens, I believe architecture is deeply political and should be treated as such, I want to be a part of a wider reorganising of our society and my particular

interest is in the physical manifestation of this change. A particular focus on housing as access to it is so dearly needed in this country, in the short term I plan on designing and building secondary dwellings under 67sqm, its no solution but can

ease the burden in a transitional period and is a great education for myself.

I began my studies in this field by studying Building Design here at Swinburne and moving into the Bachelor of Architecture afterwards, I now find myself in the final year of my studies and excited to work on projects with a wider impact then the small projects I’ve done in my free time.
