George Tsitsinaris

I’m an emerging architectural designer currently completing my Bachelor of Design (Architecture) at Swinburne University of Technology, after earning my Advanced Diploma of Architectural Building Design from RMIT University. My approach to design is grounded in the relationship between spatial experience, creating spaces that feel thoughtful, functional, and inspiring, with a focus on how people move and experience architecture.

My current project, The Intersection Museum, reimagines Melbourne’s industrial landscape as a contemporary arts precinct. Through tools like Rhino, Revit, Enscape, I explore interior circulation, the play of natural light, and the adaptive reuse of existing materials. This project reflects my broader interest in designing spaces that respond thoughtfully to context while maintaining a strong conceptual narrative.

Alongside my studies, I work as a Traffic Controller with Alpha Facilities Group, managing safety and flow on active construction sites, an experience that has deepened my understanding of coordination, sequencing, and the practical realities behind design execution.

Outside of architecture, I’m a dedicated football player, having played for clubs such as South Melbourne FC and Altona Magic SC in the National Premier League, and currently Manningham United Blues FC in the Victorian Premier League. The discipline, teamwork, and leadership I’ve developed through sport continue to shape my mindset as a designer, being focused on performance, collaboration, and application.
