Dinosaurs & Friends: a prehistoric a-z
For my capstone project, I developed my own brief, and designed and illustrated a dinosaur alphabet book with 26 unique illustrations, along with formatting posters and stickers as supporting print material.
Character & environment design
For a character and environment design class, I had to design a character and a world for them to exist in.
Here, animated by magic, a log creature explores a world in ruin, looking for it's creator.
Publication design
For a publication design unit, I had to select a paper and design a publication for it. I selected the paper On being affected feeling in the folding of multiple catastrophes by Andrew Murphie. I had to create a title (using the original title as a subtitle), and develop a publication to represent the contents. Catastrophic multiplicities is about how we are affected by the ongoing crises (climate change, social change, etc.) and how they blend.
Museum re-brand
For a branding assignment, I had to choose an existing brand and give it a refresh, creating a new logo (that specifically had to be a combination of lettermark and picture), brandbook, and supporting material to showcase it.
Packaging design
A packaging assignment for a set of simple but unique box designs.
