My name is Xaing Liu and I’m an interior student design studying at Swinburne University. In my view, interior design is not only how to create a space and sell ideas. It’s communication between humans and spaces. We put the understanding of mood, imagination and life into every single project. That generally tells a story about space. Every time, when I have a new project in hand. I can start from anywhere and exercise a lot of different creative outlets. Lighting, fabric, stone, ceramic, timber and anything that feels right and communicates the inspiration of the project. I am a nature lover, nature

environments always inspire me a lot. I can find all design principles and elements in nature. Excellent written and interpersonal skills developed through written reports, presentations on products and working in a multi-disciplinary team. Strong ArchiCAD documentation skills and confident user of Autocad, 3d Autocad (or SketchUp) Illustrator, REVIT and Photoshop. Demonstrated ability to self-manage and also work cooperatively in teams as a result of several employment roles and extra-curricular activities.
