After working 15 years within the events and hospitality industry, many of which as a Chief Concierge of a 5-star hotel, I have grown a passion for creating personal and memorable experiences. This is what lead me to study design as a mature aged student. I wanted to expand and grow my skills and ability in creating these experiences. As a child I always had an interest in architecture and environmental design, so Branded Environments for me is the perfect mix of all these elements. This year I will be graduating Swinburne University with a double degree in Design (Branded Environments) and Business (Marketing).

Though-out my career and life so far, I have had amazing opportunities to work with world leaders, religious leaders, corporate executives, A-list celebrities and remote indigenous communities. I have also been lucky enough to travel across Europe twice and been all over Australia as well. Why is this important? This shows a diverse range of life experiences and an ability to adapt to different cultures, social classes and environments.

For my future design career, I would love to design and create for the hospitality and events industries. This will allow me to cross over all my skills sets and knowledge in my life so far. The hospitality and events industries are an ever-changing environment and I believe that innovative design will be a key driver in transitioning these industries into a post COVID world.
