I’m Joshua Muldeary, a graduating BA student of architecture at Swinburne University. Since 2020 I've embarked on a journey that has enabled me to visually communicate architectural design and methodologies; while developing an understanding of the importance of maintaining both a combination of vision and adaptability.
My own practice is motivated by the way architecture influences memory. My academic pursuit has unveiled the profound connection between the built environment and our recollections. I am fuelled by a deep fascination and an unwavering eagerness to explore historical architecture through a modern lens. I hope to continue to progress in my professional career by uniting modern functionality and rationality with the meaningful and lasting connections historical architecture aimed to form with its surrounding environment and inhabitants. Through my studies, I've learned to appreciate the intricate stories etched into the walls of ancient structures, and I'm passionate about preserving their legacy while reimagining them for the contemporary world. With an innovative perspective, I aim to bridge the past and present, creating spaces that resonate with history while embracing the future.
