Shark Suits - Shark Deterrent Wetsuits

Shark Suits offers affordable and accessible wetsuits that feature advanced visual technology which effectively deters sharks. By using patterns to break up and diffuse light, the wearers’ shape is harder to discern, which reduces sharks’ interest in approaching those individuals. Shark Suits’ women’s, men’s and junior wetsuit is pictured here, along with their logo.

Shark Suits’ Instagram

Shark Suits’ Instagram exudes a captivating and immersive look and feel, taking followers on a visual adventure. With a perfect blend of adventure, nature, sustainability and style, their Instagram captures the essence of the Shark Suits brand, leaving followers inspired to embark on their own aquatic adventures.

Shark Suit’s Brand Guidelines

Shark Suits' brand guidelines provide a comprehensive framework that encompasses the brand's values, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints, including the use of their logo, colour palette, patterns, typography, voice and tone and photography style. The guidelines also extend to Instagram, with specific guidelines on maintaining a cohesive look and feel, while keeping the target audience in mind. The guidelines are designed in a minimalist style to provide focus to each element.

Grimms’ Fairy Tales – Mini Publication

For my publication project, I chose two of Grimms’ Fairy Tales by The Brothers Grimm; Rapunzel and Little Red Cap. I wanted to bring the stories to life and highlight the journey the characters took. It was my aim to create an immersive, interactive, and fun experience for readers. The sketch style of the design lends itself to the fairy tale nature of the stories and this, along with the colours, are used to appeal to a younger target audience. The concertina folded sheets show a visual representation of the journeys undertaken within the two stories.

Grimms’ Fairy Tales – Explosion Box

The containment that holds the two stories from my publication project is an explosion box. Once the roof/ lid is lifted off, the four walls ‘explode’ out. This house is designed to match the style of the concertina maps and create a sense of excitement and intrigue. The design of the house is also directly inspired by the houses detailed within the stories. The explosion box holds the two stories from my publication wrapped in their belly bands, along with five stickers.
