Publication design-The Last Days of Detroit

Key object
To propose and design a complex, imaginative and expressive publication based on a selected text.

In "The Last Days of Detroit," the documentary explored the urban decay of the once-prosperous city, showcasing its fall from grace. To capture the essence of chaos and disorder, I crafted black and white imagery that captured the city's darker aspects. I used grunge and noise textures to convey the sensation of riot and decay. A limited colour palette of black, white, and red was strategically employed to symbolise violence and deterioration.

Rebranding project- re:live

Brand Concept : From Knoxfield Soap to Re:live

For the brandmark of re:live, I've carefully selected the elegant and leafy retro typeface, "Lamia." This choice aligns with our brand values, aiming to convey a natural and botanical earthy tone that reflects the various plant-based ingredients found in our products.

The Meaning of “Re:live"

Our environment has suffered from centuries of human impact. Now, you have an opportunity to make a positive change. Will you choose to make a difference for our planet and relive its beauty? By opting for soap instead of shower gel and shampoo in plastic bottles, you can restart your life and embrace a more natural way of living. "Restart and Live Naturally!"

Transitioning from Plastic to Paper

Re:live is a local, organic, and natural brand. We believe that, instead of plastic, paper is a more sustainable choice for packaging. We are committed to eco-friendly solutions that protect our planet.

Unique bars guide 2022 South Yarra

My project idea is to introduce a selection of unique and distinctive bars along Chapel Street. We've handpicked four diverse types of bars that offer an unforgettable night out. Beginning with dinner, savouring “must-try” house cocktails, and culminating in a vibrant night club experience. The aim is to capture the essence of a lively, dynamic, and unforgettable night. To convey this sense of fun and excitement, I've opted for a bold and funky typeface that aligns with the project's concept.

Annual Report - CRAFT Victoria

To align with the 'Craft' theme of the annual report, I aimed to evoke a handmade feeling. I've always had a fondness for handmade creations, particularly those involving paper. To explore new possibilities for handmade art with paper, I attended a collage class, which served as a significant source of inspiration for my image creation.

The final images are directly inspired by my collage work, with the basic shape of each piece originating from Craft Victoria's actual work. Staying true to my concept, I aimed for a colourful yet simple design, and to achieve a cleaner look and provide more room for experimenting with colours and shapes.

Sustainable project - Bio degradable t-shirt and Infographic

Sustainability has always been a central concern for me. Throughout this project, from branding and infographics to packaging and postage, I gained a deep understanding of the entire process. I believe this experience will be invaluable for my future work in a professional setting.
The project was challenging, as I was committed to making every step sustainable and also to raise awareness about the significance of environmental issues.
