My Interior Architectural design practice is characterised by clean lines and natural materials. I aspire to design spaces that are both beautiful and sustainable. I believe that quality materials applied with restraint afford interiors a timeless elegance that is in and of itself, ecological. I intend for the spaces I create to evoke a strong sense of calm; I feel that interiors should provide a respite from everyday life. I also believe interiors have the power to transport us all together through the tactile elements present, to inspire memories and emotions. associated with them. I am excited to embrace evolving technologies in the future to enhance my overall practice. Undertaking Interior Architecture at Swinburne I have developed strong interpersonal and documentation skills which have been strengthened by industry experience.

Atelierwest - Atrium Seating

Atelierwest’s central atrium sits below a towering ‘spine’ which affords a human scale to the full height space. From the atrium and spine stem workspaces and amenities that assist creatives in achieving a work/life balance. Atelierwest sensitively restores the Watswool Wool Stores and ensures it’s a continuation into a contemporary chapter.

Atelierwest - Conference Room

Located at the front of Atelierwest, conference rooms allow creatives to meet with clients. The rooms look out to planting in the central atrium which gives a sense of the blurred definition between interior and exterior environments.

Atelierwest - Apartment Living Room

Atelierwest’s apartments and co-living are contemporary spaces within which creative residents can reflect their individual flare. The spaces are constructed from sustainable materials and spare superfluous inclusions to remain at an affordable and attainable price for young creatives.

Atelierwest - Communal Lounge

Atelierwest’s residential component includes communal lounges and dining for young creatives to unwind and socialise. They form an important component for residents forming connections and attaining a healthy mind.

Atelierwest - Eatery

The 'heart' of Atelierwest is the Eatery. Through extensive research and interviews, I gained a sense that workers engage in conversations completely unrelated to work and form connections with their colleagues in the work kitchen. Hence great emphasis is placed on creating a lift-filled open space to encourage relaxation and conversation.
