Hi, my name is Clarisia Khaterina Hartono. I am an international student born and raised in Indonesia, majoring in Interior Architecture in Swinburne University. I was never confident in my designing skills but being an interior designer has been my dream job. Picking a university was also something that I had to struggle with as I did not know what’s best for me at the time, until I found Swinburne University of Technology.
Swinburne University of Technology had taught me a lot about designing interior spaces and architectural buildings from scratch, creating a foundation to allow me to work in the field, and creating connections with lots of different people which can be beneficial for my future work.
In Swinburne, I have been taught to create and worked on a variety of projects including student accommodation, social space, museums, art galleries, and a healthcare retreat facility. Tutors and friends in Swinburne have been very helpful in helping me design the spaces as best as I can and it helped me to discover my potential in interior architecture design.
I am a hardworking, detail-oriented, and sociable person who enjoys learning about other cultures since they are so unique, and I have learnt to respect each of them. This has been the foundation I had used to create and design different styles of buildings and spaces throughout my studies.
