Hi, I'm Alicia, a friendly, enthusiastic interior architecture graduate! Ever since I was a kid, I've always been interested in drawing and sketching, which naturally led to me pursue a Bachelor’s degree in interior architecture.

Studying and working in both Malaysia and Australia has broadened my perspective on design, exposing me to a variety of styles, typologies, and approaches. In Malaysia, I explored more creative and experimental design processes, while in Australia, I focused on practicality and fostering human connections through design. These experiences have helped me develop a deeper understanding of my own design style and preferences.

I aspire to design spaces that are not only functional but also visually appealing, infused with playful and experimental elements that foster human connection and meaningful interaction. I believe the feeling and atmosphere space instills is of most importance in attracting people to a space.

Now that I've graduated, I'm excited to step into the industry. I hope to continue exploring innovative design solutions, and contribute to shaping impactful spaces for the future, whether it be commercial, community, public or residential spaces!

BizArt Atelier (Entrance)

BizArt Atelier is an Art Incubator and Experiential Marketplace located at the Timber Yard, Port Melbourne. The project aims to allow emerging creatives and youths to further develop both art and business senses through community-based activities and collaboration. Additionally, it serves as a platform for the public to learn more about art, creating a dynamic space where creativity and commerce intersect.

BizArt Atelier (Experiential Marketplace)

The Experiential Marketplace invites the public to explore and engage with the arts while showcasing emerging artists. Artists and the public may also interact through exhibitions, performances, and art markets.

BizArt Atelier (Workshops & Live Space)

Located on the left side of the entrance are some art workshops open to the public. On the first floor above is the recording & live space, a multifunctional space that can be a semi-public performance space when opened up, and a private recording space when closed up.

Serene Residence (Living Room)

Designed for a young couple in Malaysia, the living room blends modern elegance with cozy warmth. A backlit marble TV backing adds a soft glow, while white wooden panels introduce texture and create two concealed doors, providing a seamless transition to adjacent spaces.

Regent Station Activation (Community Building Lobby)

To revitalize the site and draw more visitors to Regent Station, a community building was designed. The project aims to offer flexible co-working spaces for nearby professionals while also providing a daycare facility to support working parents.
