Hans graduates from the Swinburne Master of Architecture after previously completing his Bachelor of Design ( Interior Architecture ) also at Swinburne University of Technology.

Throughout his master's program, he has explored design interventions that engage with the multicultural dynamics of contemporary Australian society. His projects also reflect a strong interest in integrated sustainable design, landscape-oriented architecture, and urban solutions addressing the growing densification of urban environments.

"Hidden Community" - Urban transformation system

Hidden Community is a forward-thinking architectural vision designed with the future in mind. Its approach considers the evolving needs of communities 10, 30, and even 50 years post-construction, focusing on not only creating potential landmarks for Camberwell Junction but also creating affordable housing accessible to Australians of all ages. Here, housing is more than just a shelter—it's a space for fun, connection, and meaningful human interaction.

Central to this project is sustainable development, particularly water management. Hidden Community integrates smart, localized water treatment solutions, ensuring resilience and adaptability within future urban landscapes.

"Hidden Community" - Urban transformation system

The current situation calls for a forward-thinking reimagination of Camberwell Junction: its present and projected population growth, the partially poor and outdated building stock, and the problematic public realm situations lacking urban porosity and orientation.

"RE:silience" - Exploring materials and transforming housing

“reuse, reclaim, rework, relook, rethink renovating & retrofitting to reconfigure how we live”

"Symphony Square" - Box Hill Civic

The proposed design draws inspiration from Box Hill's cultural context to honor Melbourne's vibrant mosaic of diverse communities living in harmony. It envisions a new civic center with an exterior that highlights and celebrates the cultural textiles and rhythm of Melbourne's emerging music hub.

"Bonding City" - Transforming housing from existing building stock

Bonding City is a forward-thinking approach to modern architecture that addresses the need for affordable and sustainable housing through a CROSS-FINANCING DEVELOPMENT model. It embraces the concept of adaptive reuse, preserving existing building facades and tectonics while creating innovative living spaces for residents.

Furthermore, it reflects a contemporary architectural trend – the concept of a "city within a city." The urban form is thoughtfully designed to integrate seamlessly with the surrounding context, respecting the existing neighbourhood and Melbourne's unique culture.
