I am a Product Design Engineering Graduate who is driven to find my place in the wide field of Engineering. I have had nearly 2 years of experience working for Daimler Truck as an engineering intern, and 2 years previous to that working on the assembly line for Magic Mobility and assisting the engineering team in designing and testing new off-road electric wheelchairs. The last 4 years of industry experience has taught me many valuable lessons about design for manufacture and assembly, optimising for cost and working in a team, with suppliers and customers alike.

I am motivated and driven to constantly learn new engineering related skills and processes, and love to create designs and fabricate parts in my spare time. Skills such as welding, 3D printing and 3D scanning are all skills that I have taught myself over the last year, and I will continue to progress these skills even after uni is completed. These projects include working on designing parts for my car, as I love to camp and go offroading in weekends and spend as much time in nature as possible. As such I am also passionate about engineering solutions optimised to minimise environmental impact, as that is a topic close to my heart.
