Hi, I’m Cam, a UX/UI and Communication Design graduate from Swinburne University with a strong background in creating intuitive and user-centered digital experiences. I have designed a variety of websites and mobile applications for Australian brands, as well as conceptual projects, allowing me to explore creative problem-solving in diverse contexts. Each project has strengthened my ability to blend aesthetic appeal with functionality, ensuring a seamless user experience.

My expertise spans multiple design disciplines, its has given me a well-rounded skill set that I apply to every project. I leverage these skills to create visually compelling and functional solutions that align with both user needs and client goals. I keep up with evolving design trends and technologies, allowing my work to remain fresh and relevant.

As a designer, my approach is rooted in collaboration and problem-solving. I work closely with clients to understand their challenges, constraints, and objectives, delivering solutions that not only fulfill their brief but also enhance the end-user experience. My ultimate goal is to create design solutions that are both innovative and impactful.

Dutton One

During my internship at Dutton One, I was assigned the responsibility of redesigning their main website, applying the skills and knowledge gained from my UX/UI studies. This major project involved analysing user feedback, conducting competitive research to identify industry best practices, and designing a solution to address the issues identified with the existing website.

During the drafting process, I incorporated additional feedback from the CTO, which further refined the design. I then had the opportunity to collaborate with the Sri Lankan-based Dutton Labs LK development team, working closely with them to bring my design to life and transform it into a fully functional, customer-facing website.

Altor Security

For my UX Interaction Capstone, my team was given the challenge of designing an app for Altor Security, starting from scratch. Our process began with extensive research into the security industry, user needs, and competitor analysis. From there, we moved into ideation, brainstorming various concepts to address the key challenges identified in our research.

We created detailed wireframes, ensuring that both the user journey and interface were intuitive and aligned with best practices in user experience design. After multiple iterations, we moved into prototyping, where we brought the app concept to life through interactive mockups.

TOM's Shed

For my Communication Design Capstone project, I transformed my dad’s beer brewing hobby into a fully developed brand. This included creating a new logo, designing beer cans, branding various smaller items, and developing a responsive website for both mobile and desktop.

Timber Tumble

For this project, we were tasked with creating a completely new fictional company within the sustainability industry. I chose to develop a furniture brand called Timber Tumble, which focuses on using recycled timber for all its products. I designed the main logo for the brand, and from there, expanded the identity by creating various branded materials and extensions that could be applied across the company’s product line.

Decorè

For this project, we were required to work in groups and pick a topic out of a select few. I chose a furniture company based on my experience working in the furniture industry, and created and prototype a responsive website for mobile and desktop.
