Hey there!

I’m Luke, a visual communicator completing his Bachelor of Design with a major in Communication Design at the Swinburne University of Technology. With my work, I focus on sending clear, effective and entertaining messages to my audience.

My attention to detail enables me to develop and strengthen the identities of clients in even the most subtle ways. And I take a narrative-driven and often funny approach to address my clients’ briefs and elicit the optimal response from the target audience. I am inspired by the creativity of street art – and am fascinated by its potential as a branding and communication device.

My skills are best applied to Branding, Packaging, and Print Publication – with a foundational belief that graphic design should elicit excitement and curiosity. Done well, design should “show not tell.”

Throughout my education, I have been awarded for creativity and design by being shortlisted for Top Arts as a year 12 student and receiving The Associate Vice Chancellor’s Award for Outstanding Design Student while studying a Bachelor of Arts at the Australian Catholic University. I am adept in the Adobe Creative Suite (Indesign, Illustrator, and XD) and have a working understanding of After Effects, Photoshop, and HTML.

I have recently finished an internship for the international tech incubator Hyper. I implemented my diverse and ever-evolving design language to express and strengthen Hyper's vision, mission and core values across social media channels.

I am often listening to podcasts, but always have time to chat design.
