Ruyi Bell is a graphic designer and illustrator based in Melbourne. She has completed a double degree at Swinburne University of Technology in Business and Design, majoring in Marketing and Communication Design. These two majors, in combination, help inform creative processes and work in both areas.

Apart from completing assigned university projects over the past 4 years, she is a coffee maker, and works on personal design projects in the meantime to expand her portfolio and create work which evokes passion and enjoyment.

She utilises her skills in Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator to create fun, interesting and effective design. Ruyi works on graphic design, specialising in branding, social media, and publication design. The love for both areas allow for engagement through both digital and classic outcomes of design, illustrating skills in a vast range of areas. Ruyi enjoys using non-digital media to create art, combining traditional media with digital media to create strong, engaging and dynamic designs.

With core values of timeless creativity, positivity, inclusivity, playfulness and fun, these are reflected through her actions and work, opening up a range of different aspects of design to be engaged.

Apart from design, she spends her free time learning about coffee, and making coffee at a North Melbourne café, baking, reading, and spending time with friends and family.
