My name is Grace and I am a recent interior architecture graduate from Swinburne University that has a passion for residential and hospitality interiors.
From my work, you can see that I value minimalistic, contemporary interior designs that are visually appealing and welcoming. Attention to detail has always been my greatest asset and I am constantly trying to improve my work by practice and learning through video tutorials. Over the years, my passion for making beautiful yet functional spaces has grown and I have finally reached a point where I am content with the quality of my work.
Upon graduating, I aim to work for an interior design firm as a junior interior designer in order to learn from people in the industry before moving onwards to bigger roles and positions in the firm. I have always believed that when undertaking new roles and responsibilities, it is best to follow in the footsteps of others that are more knowledgeable in their respective fields. This is why being a team player and being able to take advice as well as constructive criticism is very important to me as it aids my personal growth.
I am also considering undertaking a masters in architecture in the future after working in the industry for about two to three years. After that, I would love to start my own practice doing what I love and to give others opportunities that I would have appreciated as a fresh graduate!
