My name is Gabrielle. My interests are in architecture, construction and landscape photography with a focus on sustainability. I grew up in a passive solar home with many quirks, which I started redesigning at a young age. My understanding of construction began to broaden after my older sister started doing civil engineering, bringing construction and architecture into a sharper focus in my life. I went to a Steiner School, which meant I spent a lot of time completing creative pursuits such as painting, drawing and sewing. Despite this, I never expected to pursue a creative career; however, after picking up Studio Art at the last minute for year 12, I realised I enjoyed creative pursuits that worked towards something more significant. It wasn’t until the end of my first year of university that I realised I liked what I was studying and wanted to continue pursuing it.

I am a competent user of Revit and have a basic understanding of CAD, Rhino and Grasshopper. I also have a working knowledge of and InDesign and Photoshop, Lightroom and Illustrator. I am comfortable acquainting myself with new software and have developed my ability to learn them independently with the help of youtube and other platforms.

I have spent much of the year working for a small interior design company. Much of my working time is spent producing construction drawings and plans for planning permits. I have also sourced furnishings from wallpapers to tiles and sofas to artworks.
