Ashley Ng is a communication designer who wants to help individuals and teams improve their solutions through design.

She believes that connecting with people and having experiences outside of her vicinity is vital to the work she does! She has experience in marketing work and spent several years volunteering in design and social media teams. She is a team player and really enjoys working with people.

Ashley’s work has been recognized in Malaysia’s Kancil Awards 2022 and recently in the ‘Student Packaging’ finalists category in the AGDA Design Awards 2023. She holds a Diploma in Advertising & Graphic Design from The One Academy and now a Bachelor of Design in Communication Design from Swinburne University of Technology.

Brand Identity – SoulFood Podcast

Drawing parallels to the comfort of Malaysia’s late-night food / hangout culture, the redesign of Alor Setar-based podcast aims to channel that same familiarity to welcome young listeners to open conversations about life, culture, relationships, and everything in between.

Packaging – Good Doggo Treats

Good Doggo Treats was designed by hand from structure to illustration and type, with a primary purpose in mind – to give people fun reasons to reward their dogs with a treat! Featured as a finalist for AGDA Design Awards 2023’s ‘Student Packaging’ category.

The structure was inspired by Japanese rice packaging. On the canvas is an illustrated print of the product with reasons to give treats. Tied by macrame rope, people can roll-down the packaging as more treats are taken out from the bag. The two-flavoured pack is united by a handmade macrame dog toy - punching on the fun.

Web Design – The Poking Studio

With many kinds of piercings to exist and things to consider prior to getting a piercing, someone new can get lost in the terms, procedures and fear of it all. The Poking Studio’s website was designed to simplify all that one needs to know about any piercing they’re interested in getting from the business.

Brand Identity – All IT Hypermarket

All IT Hypermarket is a one-stop shop for all things tech and gadget. The objective was to turn All IT into a contemporary and modern brand, to clearly display the professionalism and establishment of the brand in order to be reliable by working adults.

Binary code is a two-symbol system made of ‘0’ and ‘1’. When you connect them to form patterns of digits known as bits, which form bit strings - it forms almost everything seen on computer screens - each pixel, character, instruction, etc. The usage of these elements reflect All IT in its core. Like binary code, All IT can connect people to the world of tech.
