I’m a graphic designer and content manager freelancing under the name “Studio by Soph,” where I specialise in creating customised branding, engaging content, and unique layouts for a diverse range of businesses and brands. I believe that every client’s uniqueness is an opportunity to showcase their individuality.

With a Diploma of Photography, an Advanced Diploma of Visual Art and now a Bachelor of Communication Design, I bring a solid foundation to my creative endeavours.

My experience spans various design and photographic projects, including designing a website for Creative Army Surfboards, developing social media content and marketing materials for Puka Studio, and leading campaign shoots for Gmaxx Activewear.

A love for surfing and travel has continually inspired my work, infusing a diverse perspective into the design process. I’m passionate about bringing creative flair to every project, embedding my distinct editorial style into all my designs and content.

This mini-publication curates poems from Hilda Doolittle’s Sea Garden, emphasizing her vivid language and exploration of the female perspective and nature. Through original imagery, textured designs, and distinctive typography, the symbolic sea landscapes in the poems come to life. The blend of visuals and text invites readers to embrace themes of self-discovery and transformation.

Resident Surfboards

A rebrand and social media campaign that focused on creating distinct, memorable visuals that resonate with the audience, fostering engagement and community while driving sales growth. Emphasizing values of connection, authenticity, and uniqueness, the rebrand and campaign aimed to make Resident Surfboards more than just a surf brand—positioning it as a community that both existing and new customers can connect with.

Melophobia Album Rework

The album redesign reflects the band’s essence through a blend of photography, collage, illustration, and digital art, showcasing their individuality and raw aesthetic. Unsettling imagery and thought-provoking compositions explore themes of fear and expression, creating an immersive narrative experience that reinforces the band’s status as indie rock pioneers.

Soulful Strides examines Nike’s emotional design, exploring how the brand connects with its audience and builds loyalty. The coffee table book features engaging imagery, insightful text, and infographics, reflecting Nike’s identity and values. Through meticulous research and design, it authentically represents Nike’s journey, strength, and motivation.
