I’m Danielle Brown, a Communication Design graduate with a passion for blending creativity, sustainability, and innovation in everything I do. My focus is on branding, packaging, and web design, where I bring ideas to life through thoughtful, aesthetically driven designs that reflect both brand identity and user experience.

During my studies, I’ve built a diverse portfolio, including projects like GlowStix, a natural skincare brand with eco-friendly packaging, and Puritea, a kombucha brand inspired by Australian wildlife with vibrant, dynamic packaging. I also developed the Melbourne Laneway Tour booklet and website, allowing me to explore crafting immersive user experiences, and worked on the Bambike packaging design for a bamboo bike kit, showcasing the innovative use of bamboo in sustainable transportation.

My design philosophy centers around simplicity and clarity, drawing inspiration from nature, architecture, and urban landscapes. I strive to combine form and function, creating meaningful connections between brands and their audiences.

I’m particularly interested in sustainable packaging design and am constantly evolving my skills in web design and user experience. I look forward to working with clients who share my values of innovation, sustainability, and creativity, as I continue to grow and make a positive impact through design.

GlowStix Skincare

A natural skincare brand offering eco-friendly, solid-state products packaged in biodegradable cardboard packaging tubes. GlowStix blends sustainability with style, using minimalistic design to reflect the purity of its organic ingredients. I designed the continuous line drawing logo, featuring a face, butterfly, and leaf, to embody the brand’s values of simplicity, nature, and sustainability, creating a glowing experience for all skin types.

Puritea Kombucha

A vibrant kombucha brand inspired by Australian wildlife, featuring a dynamic logo and packaging design. I created a black cockatoo flying across a radiant sun, with colors changing to represent each flavor. This design captures the brand’s essence of purity and nature, reflecting the organic ingredients and refreshing taste of Puritea.

Bambike Bamboo Bike Kit

Bambike is a sustainable brand partnering with Trek Bicyles, offering a bamboo bike kit packaged in a design inspired by the shape of a bamboo stem and the rich color of black bamboo. The packaging reflects the eco-friendly nature of the product, highlighting the innovative use of bamboo in transportation while creating a striking visual identity that embodies the essence of Bambike.

Melbourne Landmarks

These poster designs pay tribute to two of Melbourne's most iconic locations: the Arts Centre and Federation Square. Using abstract shapes and bold typography, the designs reflect the unique architectural and cultural significance of each landmark. The vibrant, dynamic visuals capture the energy and spirit of these places, making the posters a striking representation of Melbourne's artistic landscape.

Melbourne Laneway Walking Tour

I designed this booklet for a self-guided circular tour showcasing Melbourne's iconic laneways and vibrant graffiti art, with all photography taken by me. The bright colors and lively layouts reflect the dynamic nature of street art, inviting visitors to explore the hidden gems of the city. Each page is crafted to enhance the immersive experience, making the journey through Melbourne's laneways both engaging and memorable.
