Hi, I’m Anastasia! I’m a passionate and enthusiastic communication designer for branding, publication, and graphic design. My work stands out with a strong visual and graphic aesthetic, as I have an appreciation and profound love for digital art. While visual aesthetics are vital, I believe that all design decisions should be driven by a purpose and intent that lead to meaningful design solutions.

I’ll be graduating with a double degree in Design and Media Communications, majoring in Communication Design and Cinema Studies from Swinburne University. As I reach the beginning of my design journey outside university, I hope to keep learning, evolving and developing my skill set to grow as a designer.

Pun-Tastic Hand Warmers

A consistent brand concept was required for three product packs. The brand “Hand-in-Hand” is a fictional hand warmer company, with each pack designed to store popular food pairings! Skillfully playing on the pun where specific food combinations go 'hand in hand'—both literally and figuratively! A fun and creative approach to a mundane item that fulfilled a creative brief in being able to think outside the box.

The Anonymous Voyage in Baring Life

The publication centres on the concept of the 'non-place'. The cover illustrates the definition of being an anonymous character in public and transit areas. Individual identity is neither empowered nor embraced. The strategic concept was realised by researching visuals that evoked the circulation of crowded and fast-paced areas that do not allow for connection, resulting in anonymity.

Whimsical Worlds

The project exhibits graphic talent in the fantasy genre of colouring and drawing activities, catering to a variety of creative goals and needs. For the intended audience, it allows them to not just be creative, but engage with a creative world in a genre that is limitless with digital and traditional mediums.

Cold Rock Ice Creamery

The iconic Australian ice cream company 'Cold Rock Ice Creamery' has undergone an unoffical rebrand to reflect and showcase more of its Australian heritage. This is exemplified by the use of colours and imagery in a more modern and inviting design that aims to raise awareness of not just the company, but also its founding values.

Dracula

The publication cover conveys a seemingly bare, clean and innocent facade; with the use of typography and stark red that highlights the evil nature the character conceals. The design choice was to unravel the underlying narrative through graphic imagery and typography to reveal the lies and falsehoods that match the story’s central malevolence of the character.
