Hello my name is Tonya Tsorbatzoglou and I am a graphic designer, soon to complete Bachelor of Design majoring in Communication.

I consider myself to be a creative lateral thinker, with a head full of ideas and the motivation to bring them to life. People often find it hard to say my name, so over time a shorten version of my surname has evolved into Tsorbas.

I like to think outside the box, and push the boundaries of traditional and digital design.

With a foundation in both digital and traditional design, I’ve developed a strong skill set in branding, packaging, publication and photography, which allows me to create clear, compelling visuals that connect with the audience.

I highly enjoy working on projects that challenge me to turn complex concepts into engaging and accessible designs. I am a hardworking designer with proven time management skills.

I show an understanding of general employability skills, the importance of working as part of a team, learning from others, showing concern for my employer and client’s given requirements.

Apart from having interests in design, I have a special interest in creativity, dancing, tennis, gaming, discovering new digital gadgets and applications, Japanese culture and language and even tackle the occasional of DIY projects.

I’m excited to continue growing as a designer and contributing my skills to projects that can make an impact. As well as looking forward to exploring more softwares and collaborating in a design studio environment.
