Arc Logo

Arc is a sub-brand project for The Sandbar café in Middle Park, which opens on weekends as a sophisticated and elegant cocktail bar. Targeted towards young people aged 25-35, the cocktail bar houses live electronic music and DJ events within a dreamy, atmospheric space. Inspired by Mediterranean architecture, the Arc logo encompasses an archway icon in place of the ‘A’ to give the brand an aura of chic elegance and suggest the organic and pristine style of the cocktail bar interior.

Ally Magazine Cover

Ally Magazine is a studio photography project involving the concept ideation and artistic direction of hard light portraiture. The final portraits were then developed further to produce a fashion magazine cover and double-page spread embodying an aura of vogue fashion styling and high-end publication. The hard light images with the model’s full black outfit and broad brim hat appear high-class and sophisticated and the extreme contrast against the stark white background exposes a striking outline of her figure. The model exudes confidence as she stares at the camera with an elegant expression. It is this sense of feminine power, as well as the sharp angles of the model’s shape which fabricates a modern and polished magazine publication.

Zucci Poster

Zucci is a packaging design and branding project for kitchen grater products. The deliverables for the project included a logo design, three separate package designs for three variants of kitchen grater and a folded sheet design. The tri-fold recipe brochure and poster design are featured, elevating the product’s usability by providing practical recipe ideas for each grater type. Part of the project was creating innovative designs using only two spot colours per package and utilising overprint fill in Photoshop to generate mesmerising effects. The vibrant colours within the designs correspond with the energetic feel of the brand, which is aimed at young women in their 20s who enjoy making nibble foods and alcoholic drinks.

Crush the Blush Campaign Poster

Crush the Blush is a campaign project promoting SAD (social anxiety disorder). The campaign idea is based around an online community that offers compassion to women with SAD and gives them the courage to 'crush the blush' and manage SAD symptoms. The campaign posters aim to encourage young women to join the community on social media and post images of themselves with bright blush on their cheeks using the hashtag #CrushTheBlush. Individuals will understand the word 'blush' to have a double-entendre, as a physical effect of embarrassment/social anxiety as well as a makeup product.

The redesign of Rufus Du Sol's 'Solace' aims to capture a minimal aesthetic through the neutral colour palette including the creamy beige tones and the blues in the vector and photographic imagery. Using both digital illustration and photography in the design adds an element of abstraction as it blurs the line between dream and reality. This corresponds to the lyrics in the album where the lead singer describes himself drifting to a new sky and reaching another place.
